The golden butterfly has a large portion of short term bonds in the form of s h y. So what you're doing throughout one year is not going to make that big of a difference as to overall performance. If you wanted a more hands on approach, a monthly approach, you could do it with the sample portfolios where we are looking at the performance essentially since last re balancing and taking off the top the best performers.
