Using a Controlled Classification Based Probing Approach
In 20 16, i proposed that we take a method that had been used to study and coating of certain types of meaning information. And this ended up being very similar to what now is quite a popular approach, referred to as probing, classification based probing. But the key difference in terms of what comes from the brain side is that we control variables to make sure that we aren't testing for something other than what we're trying to target. This idea of control of confounding variables is something that is very well established within the fields of cogno nero science and cycle linguistics. It's something that i apply consistently in my own research.
