I feel like microbes you on the wrong planet. They do everything for us. There's like an imperative to the whole thing. To me, the origin is the hard question. But once it gets going, I just don't see that it seems like it's constantly creating more intelligent things - and they're able to stop. So that's a weird world where our entire galaxy just says bacteria everywhere. And viruses. I don't know which one there's more of, but most of them are like productive.
