The roots of our story really begin many, many years before Zhong Ha was ever born. For us, I'm going to take us back roughly a thousand years from present day. This corresponds with the emergence of the Zhong dynasty, which ruled China from 960 to 1297 CE. During this time, you saw incredible growth, with China's population doubling between the 10th and 11th centuries. The introduction of gunpowder weapons into the military made the Chinese armies formidable.
