The Guidelines for Resuscitation in Patients With Sepsis

The National Early Warning Score has better accuracy than QSopha at identifying septic shock. The guidelines suggest using 30ccs per kilogram of IV crystalloids within the first three hours of resuscitation for those with septic shock or hypoperfusion due to sepsis. Other markers like heart rate, central venous pressure and cystalk blood pressure alone are poor indicators of resuscitation.
