The Origins of Attachment

The roots of attachment really began with Freud's theories, but further research is really kind of what we focus on. John Bowlby did a lot of the initial legwork to figure out attachment. And his definition is it's a lasting psychological connectedness between human beings. But sometimes we can become attached in different ways to inanimate objects.
