The Future of Sarcoidosis Research
The main number one question is, you know, etiology. Like, what's causing this disease? And can we pinpoint that and can we eradicate it? There are a number of research questions that are sort of being approached right now. One important question has to do with granuloma formative process in sarcoidosis. People are working on in vitro models to simulate granuloma formation. They're proving fairly fruitful in understanding some of the mechanisms that underlie granuloma forming.
