The Confusion of Time and Space
I think of things like virtual realities as packing more time in smaller volumes of space. Everything in this room is 3.8 billion years old. And shares a common set of lineages. So that's what we're saying is the physics of life. And so some objects are older in time. But if you were just the atoms in your body and they weren't organized into you as an entity, they wouldn't have a depth in time. I think it's a confusing time for our planet because there's a lot of growth happening all at once.
