The Disingenuousness of Radical Events

The movie was kind of trying to critique its own time. I think it would be an interesting idea to explore what maybe radical events could be almost seen in this way as like you think you're doing this thing that's so contrary to the system or so countercultural, but really as you said, it doesn't really touch anything at the actual system. It's purely symbolic or in some cases even, it's purposely choosing something that we know will never actually achieve anything. We've got all of this ideology that tells us that we can have what we want and we can be wonderful? And then Subliminal Message is subliminal message is sleeping and not doing your duty. So weird
