The kind of jobs that are being discussed for lower or middle income workers even are service jobs for the wealthy and the professional class. The cor city as a middle class construct, i believe, is not only past its prime, but good riddance. To support a mega region construct you have to make the mega region work. You have to recognize that transportation solutions have to work within and between suburbs. And we actually have to stop planning for downtown san francisco. We have to start planning for the region, and planning for a middle class success route in the region.
