Is There a Curriculum That Fosters Critical Thinking?

Laura: I think one thing that's going on here with teachers is they're they're training and their habits, have inclined them against asking questions. Laura: Some people who have embraced wit and wisdom are like yes, like this is it and it's working. And then we have other teachers who just even from the start have just pushed back against it. We need support for teachers professional development coaching grounded in the specifics of the curriculum so not how to foster critical thinking in the abstract but how to fostercritical thinking about a topic such as domestication of animals. The first step is adopting good content focused curriculum that focus up focus knowledge in a coherent way rather than on building these supposed skills.
