Is It Possible to Use HTTP Redirects?

The 301 and 302 are like the classical ones, but there's also 308 and 307 if I remember correctly. Usually so with with a 301 and 302, what is forwarded are get requests. And with 307, 308, it also forwards post requests. So if you have some kind of an API that uses post requests or if you have a broken setup that you have a form on one domain and the results are forwarded to a different one, then you would kind of use the 307, 308. But for SEO, it doesn't really matter. It's more like, does it work for APIs or not?
