You Know What Is Most Helpful for You in Your Self-Sabotage?
One of the topics that I am selfishly most interested in is self-sabotage and that pull back to the familiar which your book covers actually quite a quite a bit but it's something that I see wreaking havoc in my own life. The way that we are evolutionarily wired our subconscious will always interpret that which is not known as possibly threatening because we haven't lived that particular experience enough to get to predict what comes next. We're not wired to want to change their habitual patterns and those habitual patterns might relieve the shame and anticipated overwhelm then we could set ourselves up to work with resistance again.
