I remember we were sitting there because you remember Springsteen's band went into the Hall of Fame that year and they were all talking so long on their speeches. I did it a long day long enough to hit my friend, Joan, get up and play with Nirvana. And then I walked out. But going back to that night, which was the trigger for all of this. The truth of the matter was the truth of thematter was that the Hall of Famers wanted just the original band to play. They didn't want to do that. There is no rhyme or reason why they say what they say. They say what's ever convenient for them and makes them the most money.
