The Microbiome Wipe: The Easiest Way to Get a Sample
So typically what you have to do is you've got to poop in a bucket or on a piece of paper. We invented something called the microbiome wipe, which is exactly what it sounds like. It's basically a toilet paper made out of a special polymer. You can wipe that into a vial, close it and if you shake it, it will dissolve away in 10 seconds. And then it release, and then you release a salt solution that will preserve DNA.
