Dream Theater - I Love Effects
It's always interesting to me whenever you press play on an album from a band that's supposed to be full of the best musicians of all time and every instrument is saturated with processing. Dream theater obviously have a huge heart on for Peter Gabriel and they basically flaunted it in their rip off of Salisbury Hill which they titled Solitary Shell, barely even trying. And as we said in the Phil Collins episode, all of these Praghi synth guys were just trying to impress Kate Bush in the first place. I would love for dream theater to make an entire acoustic album with no effects at all. Nobody would want to hear that shit. Even people who listen to dream theater wouldn't want
