The US-China Tech Relationship

I think the marker of this being an end of an era with the TikTok hearing today, the Restrict Act or something like it possibly becoming a law is not that hyperbolic. I have held hope that products like TikTok, which poses much more obvious national security threats could be dealt in one bucket. But now, certainly based on my understanding or reading of the Restrict Act, they're all being shoved under this much larger movement of increasingly adversarial relationship between the two countries. There are opportunities where TikTok could have led the pack or really stayed in front of this problem as well.
