Sars can remain infectious on the surface of frozen or refrigerated meat for more than three weeks. There's another line of evidence, which was there was an outbreak in baging that just seems to sort of pop up out of nowhere. The investigators of that outbreak found some vital particles on cold stored salmon at a market stall in basing.
