The Secret Talks Between the U.S. And Russia
Simmons: This could lead to peace talks, or it could do absolutely nothing at all. He says there are no fulsome negotiations between the U.S. and Russian governments about any of the war that we know about. Simmons: The top Russian diplomat, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, was involved holding a meeting for several hours in April in New York with former White House and State Department officials.
