Social Networks - A Long Table Distribution
Researchers found relatively few people with many friends, and the majority had very few friends, or none at all. The social network they were looking at was a long table distribution. Even after being stripped and beaten, the average they got on this tortured data set was still lower than dunbar's number. When we look at it, we can see that eleanor rigby is not just facing the crowd, she is the crowd. And now we can even answer the beetle's great question, oh, the lonely people.
