I think there's a little bit of a weird vibe, self-referential thing of these are also about Tom Cruise kind of and the legend making of Tom Cruise is one of the functions of these movies. It was odd to me in this watch through when there was that moment of like, you're really him. I feel like it's a, it's something I noticed with this phase of Tom Cruise's career. All of his big temple movies are kind of about Tom Cruise and they like like Maverick, you know, is so like, "I'm not not done yet"
