The anniversary of partition in India is a major moment for Indian culture. How has that been dealt with? And to what extent has that narrative of the Modi government kind of shaped those celebrations? I think it's really interesting to look at where 50 years of partition was in 75 years and 50 years, we were so sort of in that era where globalism was a good thing. We're now seeing quite a revengeous turn instead during the Modi government instrumentalising the Ayatollah-Pindy nationalism - using culture as a weapon.
