The Insurgency in Northern Nigeria
In mid two thousand and nine, confrontations with the state escalated dramatically. After a series of massive rests and clashes with police, the group vowed revenge. On the 20, sixth of july, they first attacked a police station in bouche state. Dozens were killed. Later that night, they launched coordinated attacks on police stations in several other northern nigerian states. Bravely, the next morning, bilkis went out to investigate the sen as horific ous.
