Those Stripes Are a Badge of Sham

Zebras were thought to be a satanic animal sowatat all. Zebras used to be huge in france, but now they're just ant-like. stripes have often had negative associations. By the mid twentieth century, prisoners had stopped wearing stripes. Because it was so associated with this shame thing. And weirdly, i think, maybe as a sign of the direction that america's going in, but because it shows you tough on crime, if you introduce stripes. Or the new orange, which is a new black stripeig in the orange.
