Is There a Crop in the Note?

The note seems creased, which to me, why would you crease the note if you're writing it in the kitchen or where that pad would be? And then you're just transferring it over to the steps. Why crease it at all? The crease is very weird to me as well. Patsy Ramsey says she finds it on the spiral staircase and it's three pages and is laid outside by side. So we know that at some point, the letter was not to be concealed. It was to be found by the parents and for the sake of not contacting the authorities. We haven't found the letter yet.
