The Importance of Cybernetics in Government
Cybernetics is based on the word kybernetes, which is Greek for steersmen. It's an intelligent, self-regulating system with a goal. All cybernetics systems have goals, so you can think about the heating and cooling system in your home as a cybernetic system. Cybernetics could be used to help companies redistribute power within the system. Chile was interested in using cybernetics to help them manage their bureaucracy.
