Is There a Lack of Motivation in the Conservative Party?
I was recently reading Charles Moore's fantastic biography of Margaret Thatcher. What she faced in 1979 when she entered government was one of the most difficult situations any prime minister could face. And it seems to me that the current Conservative Party lacks the motivation because of perhaps a lack of leadership from Boris Johnson in defining what he wants. I think we have a problem with our civil service. I think there's too much turnover.
