I think I paid more attention to how the player might be thinking on the pitch. So, when you might do like debriefs or analysis with individuals, I found myself asking more open questions such as what led you to that decision. And again, listening really intently to like his responses and try not to have an opinion as such. All of this being underpinned by a shared understanding within the coaching team of what lead or what leads to certain actions from these players.
