John Avlon: John Roberts was as political as anyone when it comes to who gets on the bench. He also, by this point in November of 2018, you know, Trump was not wearing well with some of the justices just because he was acting as if it's such a political institution. And drawing attention to them in a way that they didn't want. It kind of goes back to what we were talking about before. This is an extraordinary group of dedicated judges doing their level best to do equal right to those appearing before them.
