Grand Palmer's Comparisons to Joseph Smith in the Book of Mormon

Joseph Smith likely used Methodist preaching techniques of laying down heads while creating the long sermons. In Jacob 1 4 Nephi gives Jacob explicit instructions on preaching this is other than references to plates could easily have been inserted into the pages of a 19th century sermon composition manual. Joseph Smith would have a general idea of what he wanted to say and then from there he could use those heads to create the meat of the story so it's almost like if you ever go to a live music concert you'll sometimes see they have a set list on stage.
