I'm a Big Fan of the Supplement Industry, but It's Not the Little Guy.
The supplement industry is huge and lucrative. Many supplement companies are owned by pharmacitical companies. It's also this maveric, freethinking, ic, ultimate organic world view that really is a kind of honey trap. Pseudo spirituality and the promise of a purified and privileged medical status blend together seamlessly through their messaging. And beyond all that, there's simply the foundational claim that a campaign of suppression against natural cures has rendered them shut out of clinical trials. That's just demonstrably false.
