i grew up as a part of that culture, and also grew up in our kind of diaspera culture. So i would be going and moving back and forth between those things. I think traditionally, probably thousands of years ago, our culture travelled and voyaged a lot more than we do now. Even if i would see and stay at my aunt's house in alaska, we had a hawaiian home there. We, you know, used the hoan language and talked about hawaian stories. Any hawaiian family that was in anchorage was at our house for a sunday dinner. And so you're you, you interact easily. You move among groups like
