Psychoanalysts, I'm Not an Emergency Psychiatrist
At the beginning of my career, i cared too much about how patience felt about me. I found that i was almost encouraging certain patients to be very needy and to call me after hours in emergencies. Took me awhile to a realizet that's god's job. That's not my job. And i have to tell you, i book a bill for miss sahions. Just not an emergency. I'm not an emergency theropist. M a psychoanalysis takes time, and, you know, takes the continuity of daily sessions. So, i mean, it took a long time.
