The Pain of Running
I think the biggest change in going from high school to college professional running is your relationship with the discomfort of running changes. I had no idea how much to warm up for before marathon because for road races and shorter stuff, we warm up 20 minutes or three miles. And so I was assuming that I do the same thing for a marathon. So yeah, this was all kind of a big shock, like going in and with my first marathon build up really going a lot better than I expected.
