The Impact of the Russian War on the Politics of Estonia
Estonia's relations with Russia have been a part of politics for Estonia since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The Russian speaking ethnic minority has been voting for the center party, but they have never been a defining group within the supporters of center party. More than 60% of Estonian Russian speaking populations identified in the weekly and monthly political service do not have a preference to one party or another. It still remains higher than the baseline before the war in Ukraine.
