I don't really know when we would have expected to see the emergence of those kind of social behaviors but that those have been applied um at greater and greater scales by different individuals until now. We're built on cognitive empathy which is just literally the ability to comprehend what somebody else is experiencing until like anticipate their responses and their motivations. There's probably actually a lot more of the cognitive architecture that allows us to  have those experiences of empathy for people who are suffering you know who are starving on other continents or experiencing some subjugation or misfortune far away from us.
