A lot of our days are spent thinking about things in the realm of relational models. Are we going to go down a traditional data warehousing methods like looking at star at snowflake schemas? Are we looking at column stores? All that ties back to basically how people are going to use this information for a logical use of lookups. If you're doing it right, your business is growing, your data is probably going to be growing as well and making sure that your designing systems that can expand at the same rate if not faster than your businesses.
