The Right Has Always Been a Reactionary Movement

A lot of anti-Trumpers shift to being fairly pro-Trump over the last five, six years and so on. How much of that is a strategic move on their part? Like they just recognize that all the energy in their base in the party is on the side of Trump. He has still has enormous sway. We keep hearing stories like maybe his influence is finally fading, but that hasn't been borne out in any dramatic fashion yet.
