The length of an experience has very little bearing on our sort of a feelings of happiness that we get from it, or our satisfaction with it. What seems to matter perhaps the most is the kind of peaku level of happiness. I disagree with the author's premise that experiences make you happier than material things. For me, living in a comfortable home is much better than travellng and more fun.
