We're very social animals. And if the people around you aren't necessarily into awakening, you're going to likely become like them sooner or later unless you start interacting with people who are on some kind of path. The shared knowledge and exploration that we try to do on awareness explorers, where you're learning new things from the people who are also exploring is one of the most satisfying things about about a awakening group of folks.
