You take over as chair of the college this weekend and you're taking over at what's an incredibly difficult time for general practice. You know, we're facing one of the worst workload and workforce crises that the profession has ever seen. I'm getting vibes, although perhaps not too surprisingly, that those 6000 additional GP's promised may not be coming after all. But it has to be a priority. And really we need to have more GP's on the ground. So if we're increasing the number of trainees, that's good.
