Women in the City - Is There a Pyramid?
Lloyd's has introduced a public goal to increase the number of women in senior management positions, our top 7,000 roles to 50% by 2025. We're actually at 40% all the way up the organisation, including on our exec committee and at 45% on the board. That sounds really straightforward and obvious, but it's really hard yards work because you have to,. we've done things like, for example, have waivers for short lists that don't have women on them at all levels of the organisation. The last two roles at the very senior levels the organisations are interviewed by our chief exec. There has to be a woman on that short list.
