Russian Military Recruiters Targeting Fathers Who Are Not Paying Child Support
The head of the RT television network, Margarita Simanyan recorded a video over the weekends in which she spoke about her recent visit to Sochi. The local mayor basically confirmed to her that they had drawn up a list of men who have been failing to pay child support for their children and those men have been sent off to fight. I have heard an official reports of women whose ex-husband or ex-boyfriends have essentially abandoned their children but apparently someone did end up on the front line. Those reports are quite hard to track but it sounds like it really is happening.
