Stoned napping is more complicated than simply smashing a nut open. People propose that skilled napping was evident about two and a half million years ago. We don't really know precisely how that kind of napping skill compares to what we see in non-human primates. But with a lot of practice, we can do things in a very skilled way such as making flint arrowheads like in napping stones.
