Which Option Is First on the List?
The higher up in the list you are, that matters, but particularly so if you're first. The thing that you see last on the list can also get a bit of a bump. So it depends in part on how long the list is, but absolutely being first gives you a bump. That's true in surveys and it's true in elections as well. And it is a big bump in this particular case.
