The Heuristics of Philosophy

Heuristics help guide your mind to finding the problems before others gleefully point them out. These are just techniques to breaking down a hard problem into easiest subproblems and then you can make progress on those. Think of some other area where there are heuristics like chess. But I don't know, somehow in philosophy some people view it with a bit of suspicion that this isn't really depth. This isn't really getting to the profundity of philosophy. It's as if I'm like the magician who gives away the tricks of the trade.
