The Importance of Human-Centered UX

A lot of well-known recognised UX leaders fall into two buckets, they were responsible and leading the charge on proving the relevance of UX. But also too, a lot of these leaders tend to be white, tend to have a lot of privilege. And so when you mix those two together, you have this group of leaders who were advocating for who were trying to push the relevance ofUX. Within that, there was a missed opportunity for it to be more holistic in terms of understanding,. was it meant to be human-centered, more equitable and more inclusive.
