Did the Neanderthals Have a Tail?

Neanderthals were a separate subspecies of humans. They appeared in urasia at least 600 thousand or so years before to day homosapians, ofour ancestors. Most non african humans have a certain amount of neanderthal origin. But from what i understand, most indians don't have any neanderthal ancestry.
