Holographic constructions work very much what we call top-down, so backwards in time. They're anchored on the histories that play a role in the wave function or anchors on our observations. I think it's more the Feynman kind of description that is perhaps at the heart of this theory. Do you believe there really exist other universes where things are very different? Other branches? That does not quite enter in our theory.
