Is This War Res Worryle, Am I Perpetuating Something I Shouldn't Be?

i went back to philosophy after almost 15 to 20 years of not doing it academically. It was almost as if we were enlisted at hock or as mercenaries to protect the university from these neo liberal forces which were encroaching upon the ability of sophy to do its thing. And i'm curious if, in your experience, and i don't want to out you tireg, like, is this something that you had to contend with so im trying to think if there's anything directly that i can think of that kind of sounds similar to my experience.
